General Provider Policy · Registration

Know what you’re enrolling in.
Before you register.

Human Restoration Institute™ provides course-specific registration details before enrollment so learners can make an informed decision about the course, its expectations, its cost, and the requirements for earning continuing education credit.

HRI General Provider Policies

Enrollment should not require
guesswork.

The registration process may vary slightly by course or delivery format, but the standards below apply to Human Restoration Institute™ continuing education unless a specific course listing states otherwise.

01

How to Register

When registration is open, each course page or course announcement will identify the approved registration method. Learners should review the full course information before submitting enrollment.

  • Use the registration link or instructions published for the specific course.
  • Provide the requested learner and professional information accurately.
  • Submit payment, when tuition or a registration fee applies.
  • Retain the registration confirmation and course information for your records.
02

When Registration Is Complete

Registration is considered complete after HRI has received the required enrollment information, any required payment, and issued or transmitted a registration confirmation.

Submitting an inquiry, joining an interest list, or requesting course information does not reserve a seat.

03

Learner Information We May Request

Information collected depends on the course and the requirements of the applicable continuing education system. It may include:

  • Legal name and preferred contact information.
  • Email address used for registration and course communication.
  • Massage therapy license number and licensing jurisdiction, when applicable.
  • Professional credential or eligibility information when a course has prerequisites.
  • Accommodation requests or other course-access information voluntarily submitted by the learner.
04

Seats, Capacity & Waitlists

Enrollment may be limited by classroom size, instructor-to-student ratio, equipment, hands-on lab needs, or the educational design of the course. Registration may close when capacity is reached.

If a waitlist is offered for a specific course, waitlisted learners will receive separate instructions if a seat becomes available. A waitlist position is not confirmed enrollment.

05

Prerequisites & Professional Eligibility

Some HRI courses may be open broadly to massage professionals, while others may require current licensure, prior coursework, specific professional training, or completion of an earlier HRI course.

The prerequisites listed on the individual course page control. Learners are responsible for determining that they meet those requirements before enrolling.

06

Payment & Course-Specific Terms

Tuition, fees, accepted payment methods, registration deadlines, included materials, and any course-specific terms will be stated before enrollment whenever they apply.

Refunds, transfers, and learner-initiated cancellations are governed by HRI’s Cancellation Policy and any clearly disclosed course-specific modification.

Course details belong
in front of the decision.

HRI is committed to giving potential learners the information needed to understand both the academic and financial expectations of a course before it begins. Course-specific information will be made available through the course listing, registration page, confirmation materials, or clearly identified supporting documents.

If a material detail changes after registration, HRI will communicate the change to affected learners using the contact information provided during enrollment.

Course information may include:

  1. Instructor name
  2. Number of CE hours
  3. Course cost
  4. Date and time
  5. Location or delivery method
  6. Course description
  7. Learning objectives
  8. Completion criteria
  9. Cancellation and refund policy
  10. ADA accommodation information
  11. Required supplies or equipment
  12. Prerequisites
  13. Grievance or complaint process

Enrollment is not the same
as completion.

Registration reserves access to a course. Continuing education credit is awarded only when the learner satisfies the completion criteria published for that course. Depending on the course, completion criteria may include attendance, participation, assessments, assignments, demonstrations, or other documented learning activities.

HRI may request professional license information and learner email information when needed for accurate continuing education records or reporting through an applicable CE registry. Learners are responsible for providing accurate information and promptly correcting errors.

Successful completion of an HRI course does not by itself create a professional license, expand a learner’s legal scope of practice, or guarantee that a particular licensing board will accept the hours for a specific renewal requirement.

When something changes,
learners should know.

HRI may modify a course date, time, location, delivery method, instructor, materials, or other logistical detail when circumstances require it. When a material change affects registered learners, HRI will provide notice using the contact information supplied during registration and will explain any options that apply under the course terms and HRI Cancellation Policy.

Course-specific registration terms may supplement this general policy when the nature of the course requires different instructions. Any such terms should be disclosed before registration whenever reasonably possible.
